CENTENNIAL HOMES RECEIVES AWARD FOR HOME SALES
Aberdeen, SD
May 12, 2009 —
In trying financial times and in a housing market that has received
national attention for record foreclosures and decreased buyer
confidence, a local company has received recognition for delivering more
homes in the state than any other. Centennial Homes, with model home
centers in Billings and Belgrade, was recently recognized for being the
number one manufactured home dealer in Montana for 2008. This award was
given by Statistical Surveys, Inc., an independent company that collects
consumer data on a national scale.
Centennial Homes has been providing quality system built homes for
families since 1969, through their six retail locations two of which are
located in Montana. With model home centers in both Billings and
Belgrade, Centennial Homes makes it possible for those searching for a
new home to access over $15 million of new inventory featuring a wide
variety of floor plans and design options.
In addition to the home centers in Montana, Centennial Homes also
has locations in Bismarck, North Dakota and three cities in South
Dakota. Each of these other locations has received similar recognition
over the years. Centennial Homes is an exclusive dealer of Friendship
homes which has been the highest delivered home in South Dakota for the
past 15 years and was recently named as the top selling home in North
Dakota.
Michael Evans, CEO of Centennial Homes said, “We have been in the
business of providing the highest quality homes for our clients in the
West and upper Mid-West for the past forty years and this award in
Montana will serve to strengthen our commitment to this area in the
years to come.” Evans also added, “Our motto is, ‘Who you buy from is
as important as what you buy’ and with the economic changes and the
volatility in the housing market this has never been more important than
today. We have a very strong focus on product quality and client
satisfaction that we will carry forward in Montana and our other service
areas.”
In 1984 Centennial entered into an exclusive partnership with
Friendship Homes, a major manufactured of both modular and manufactured
homes. Through this partnership with Centennial, Friendship Homes has
been named the top selling home in Montana, North Dakota and South
Dakota for 2008. “It is very reassuring to have a relationship like the
one we have with Friendship,” said Jason Collins, Director of Business
Development for Centennial Homes. “While many home builders are going
out of business and even more retailers are closing their doors,
Centennial Homes and Friendship are both searching for growth
opportunities and ways that we can best serve our clients in Montana and
the Dakotas. We are here for the long-haul and we want our clients and
potential clients to rest assured that our company is solid and will
only be getting bigger and better going forward.” Collins concluded.
Statistical Surveys, the company that presented the award to Centennial
Homes, is a premier provider of market intelligence to the Manufactured
Housing Industry. Founded in 1958, they have created the world’s largest
number of market share data reports, and their capabilities are
unprecedented in terms of depth, breadth, and accuracy.
Centennial Homes provides an extensive collection of both manufactured
and modular home floor plans on the website at

Del Schrupp from Friendship and Chad Evans
receiving the award for most homes sold in the state of South Dakota
Friendship Homes of Minnesota and Centennial Homes does it again. Since
the inception of the award 15 years ago. Friendship Homes and Centennial
Homes has won the award for most homes shipped into the state every
year.
Fairmont Homes also won the award for Multi-factory award and has every
year since that award's inception. 2nd place was awarded to Champion
Homes and 3rd place to Highland Homes.
This means that once again more people bought a Centennial Home than any
other in the state of South Dakota. Keep this in mind also, we have 3
lots with Friendship Homes.
There are roughly 6 Champion dealers in this state and 4 Highland
dealers. So, Centennial Homes sold more on 3 lots than the other 2
manufacturers who are represented more than us in the state of South
Dakota.
If you look at the number of shipments into the state of South Dakota
and do the math with how many we shipped into South Dakota, it looks
like we account for about 45% of all homes shipped into this state.
Thanks to you who helped with this amazing number.
